The use of facial recognition technology has already generated a heated debate on whether it is a necessary tool to combat crime or an unlawful breach of privacy.
The technology identifies people's faces and runs them against a "watchlist" of images which can include suspects, missing people and persons of interest. But privacy campaigners have already branded the technology "dystopian"
